Azra Ahmad

At Mid-America Law Practice, LLC, we believe that legal representation should be personal, forward-thinking, and rooted in service to the community. Azra Ahmad, the founder and managing attorney, brings a unique and compassionate approach to the practice of law—shaped by a rich and diverse professional journey.
Before becoming an attorney, Azra worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing therapy to children and seniors. This foundation in caregiving and advocacy informs her legal practice today, where she focuses on Estate Planning, Elder Law, Personal Injury, and Traffic Law with both skill and heart.
Azra holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Saint Louis University School of Law, a Master of Science (MS) in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. She is licensed in both Missouri and Illinois, and is an active member of the Missouri Bar, South Asian Bar Association, WealthCounsel, and ElderCounsel.
A New York native who has made St. Louis her home for over two decades, Azra lives in West County with her husband and is proud to have raised her three children here. She is deeply committed to civic engagement and serves on the St. Louis County Human Relations Commission and the board of the Youth Advancement Coalition, which promotes civic awareness among youth. Her past board service includes Muslims for a Better America, encouraging voter participation and interfaith collaboration, and the Center for Hearing and Speech in St. Louis.
Azra has also volunteered her legal expertise to the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis, assisting with endowment planning and policy development, and continues to participate in various interfaith and community initiatives throughout the region.
When she’s not practicing law, you’ll find her hiking local trails, enjoying time with family, or—like the rest of us—occasionally binge-watching the latest Netflix series.
Whether you’re planning for the future, navigating a personal injury claim, or simply need straightforward legal guidance, Azra Ahmad is here to help—with warmth, wisdom, and a fierce commitment to your well-being.
